COVID-19 Update: Working to stay connected

Updated: Dec 10, 2021

Dear patients of South Edmonton Physical Therapy & Sport Rehab: We hope you are all doing well during this trying time. While we are not seeing patients in the clinic until April 6, we are still busy in an effort to serve you better. This break has given us a chance to do a top to bottom “Super Spring Clean”. Thanks to Caitlin (Cinderella) for all her hard work here, as no stone has been left unturned in this process. We are also changing our clinic management system so that we can function more efficiently and more effectively.  Some of the things we will be able to do are:

  • Online booking and appointment changes

  • Online exercise programs emailed directly to you

  • Teleconferencing with us if you cannot make it into the clinic

  • Confirmations and reminders for your appointments via email/text message.

This is exciting and it’s great to have something else to look forward to when we come back! In the meantime, we are now able to teleconference with those of you that would like to touch base with your therapist. Using a program called Physitrack, we can video conference with you to see how you are doing, change your exercise program, and even let you show us how you are moving etc. It is not a replacement for an “in clinic” session but it will help bridge the gap. Our therapists have identified patients who they feel this would be beneficial for, and some of you may have already had a phone call from them to check on you. If you have questions or if you would like to have a video session with your therapist please email us and we will get back to you!
